Tuesday I didn’t make it to practice, so I went on Wednesday instead. But it turns out I might as well not have gone since it was a pretty light day. Here is my training vlog. Enjoy!

Yo Mark,
Just wondering why you haven’t posted anything a week. Are you okay over there?
Sorry for the delays! I’m in Hong Kong travelling. Just posted up an update blog.
Thank you!, is just that through your site I’ve fallen in love of the Shaanxi sports center and I couldn’t find any information about training opportunities in there.
Yes, they don’t have an English language website, and their Chinese language site is very confusing. One of the things I would like to do for them is to create an English-language website so that they can increase their exposure, but I’m so busy with other projects right now I haven’t had time to approach them about this opportunity. Hopefully in the spring.
If you want to put in a request to them for training, I can forward the information to their coaching staff. You can e-mail it to me (wushuzilla@gmail.com) and provide me with all of the details (dates, names, experience, etc.) and I can let you know their response. The more information you give me, the better.
Thanks.
Hi Mark,
I loved reading yor blog and I think it is a great idea to start a video log which seems to be much more economic in time (you will have to correct me if I’m wrong), so congrats on the new version of your adventures.
On another subject I would like to ask you something, in a rather old post, you commented that the best place to train Wushu in Xi’an was the University of physical education, but you added that you don’t train there but instead in the Provincial sports center, why do you decided to train there?
Well, I don’t know about it being the “best” please to train, but it is a good option for some. I don’t train there because I made a conection with the Shaanxi Team for training. Also the Shaanxi Team’s Sports Center is much closer to where I live and easier to get to. But there is no reason other than that for me not to train there. It is mainly economy of distance and time.
But not everyone can train there right?
Where? At the Sports University or with the Shaanxi Team? Anyone can train at either one — you just need permission. Its like any other place in China, really. If you have permission to train there, you can train there.
